On Thursday August 28th, 2008 our investigation team had to go to a very important conference that is of great concern to all of the students that are currently doing investigation: How to manage chemical reagents and wastes in a laboratory?  This question was answered by Dr. Robert Rios.  During his conference we learned the safe ways to work in an investigation enviroment and the things we shouldn’t do or even dare to try.  He used many examples, and explained the information clearly.  After the conference was finished, we had a quiz about the topics that were explained throughout the presentation, and those who passed the quiz received a certificate.
