A little bit about Magdelisse Velázquez Repollet

Hello everybody! My name is Magdelisse Velázquez Repollet, I’m 18 years old and I study my third year of Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez (COLEGIO).  I have many things that captivate my attention: I love genetics, it’s been my passion ever since I can remember, and I wish to finish my bachellor’s degree, and continue graduate studies (my PhD of course) in the field of Biomedical Research specialized in molecular genetics.  I also love chemistry!! And of course I have lots of hobbies that include: writing poems and songs, reading, singing, and movies!
     BIOMINDS has given me the opportunity to do what I love the most…Investigate.  I know that this program will enrich me in a more professional level and many opportunities will come for me in a near future.  Developing in the fields of investigation, will make me a candidate for a prestigious graduate school, a competitive professional and a person that will change the world to a better one!
